HTC One gets unveiled

HTC One

HTC unveiled their long rumored flagship smartphone HTC One. There was a lot of hype even before it got released and as the official specifications show it is something that's worth all that hype. It is offering some features that are new to the smartphone world. As we expect from a flagship of a company like HTC these days, it is packed with a Full HD Super LCD3 display. But they have reduced the size of the display to 4.7", as opposed to the 5.0" displays we saw in recent Full HD smartphone displays, making its pixel density higher than any smartphone out there.

It is packed with a 1.7Ghz quad-core Krait 300 processor, which is on a   Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset. The VGA is a Adreno 320 one and it also has a 2GB of ram memory, making this the best smartphone, specification wise, to be released yet. It has all the connectivity features that are available for smartphones including LTE and NFC. The camera of this phone is a 4MP one. Yes you read it right, it has a 4MP camera which has UltraPixels. UltraPixels are larger than the normal pixels that we see in modern smartphones, making it a much better camera in low lights. But it doesn't reduce the quality of the normal pictures too. It is also capable of recording 1080p videos with HDR technology, which was introduced to the smartphones earlier this year by Sony.

The secondary camera is a 2.1MP one which is also capable of recording 1080p videos and also have the HDR technology. HTC One also supports GLONASS, the Russian alternative to GPS, while supporting GPS. The memory options are limited to 32GB and 64GB and you can't expand it later due to the lack of a memory card slot. All in all we could say that this would make a tough competition to all the flagships that are going to get released by other companies. The release date of this phone is not yet confirmed but it is not going to take too long for sure, with Xperia Z already in the battle.
