Mercedes Unveils 2014 AMG SLS Black Series

                                       Mercedes Benz AMG SLS made its debut in year 2010 and since then it is somewhat of a dream car to most of us. Now the Mercedes-AMG has introduced their latest update to the prestigious SLS line-up, AMG SLS Black Series. The new Black Series is giving more power and it is promised to give more performance than its predecessors. It is also wider and faster and as the chairmen of the Mercedes-AMG says this would give ' pure, unadulterated 'Driving Performance''. 

                                      The car has a 6.3L AMG V8 engine that generates a power of 622 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque. This makes SLS Black Series the most powerful AMG high-performance production car ever. This beast is capable of accelerating up to 60 mph just in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 196 mph (315 kmph). The curb weight of this vehicle is 1550 kg which makes it lighter than the regular SLS. It has 7 speed transmission and it's optimized for faster gear shifts. The public debut for this beast would be at the Los Angeles motor show and it would have a price tag of US$ 400000 which makes it just a dream for most of us.

                                     Range Rover is famous among SUV users as the unstoppable machine. Basically Range Rovers are capable of doing anything that you want. Range Rover has introduced three models for year 2013 (Vogue, Vogue SE & Autobiography) and as the pinnacle among them is the Autobiography edition. The all-new Range Rover Autobiography edition has been introduced to carry on the mark of its predecessors and it comes with a new face-lift and the shell design has also been changed. But sadly now it reminds more of a Freelander than a classic Range Rover. However the performance and the ability of this beast has not being compromised.

5.0L Supercharged Version

                             The new LR-TDV6 3.0 litre engine with Stop/Start  has been introduced with improved fuel economy and as usual there is the 4.4L diesel version for performance and a V8 5.0L petrol version to simply do what ever you want. All these models feature an imposing bright chrome plated front grille, Atlas front bumper vent blades and Noble plated upper & lower door handles. The new 21 inch 10 Spoke alloy wheels are fitted as standard. Also every Autobiography edition Range Rover comes with 20-way adjustable leather seats, front seat drivers and passenger memory, front and rear climate seats and the state-of-the-art Meridian 825 Watt Sound System.

4.4L Version

                                             Autocar has given a full review about these beasts and according to them the all-new Range Rover Autobiography edition looks much more promising. In conclusion we could say that his would be the ultimate toy for any person who loves SUVs.

New Baby Lambos

Lamborghini Unveils New Baby Gallardos

                        Italian automotive company Lamborghini unveiled there new Lambo models at the Paris Motor Show held recently. The two models are Gallardo LP 560-4 and the LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica. Both models share a 5.2 liter V10 VVTi engines and both are four wheel drives. Both have six speed paddle shift transmissions and both have a maximum speed of 325 km/h. Though new Gallardos seem to have identical speeds and engines but there are some differences between two. The 560-4 model has a power of 550 HP and does 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. Its sibling has a power of 570HP and makes 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. The LP-570-4 is 70 kilograms (154.32 lb) lighter at 1,340 kg (2.954 lbs) versus 1,410 kg (3.109 lbs). Fuel consumption of both these beauties is almost identical – 13.7 liters per 100 km (16 mpg) for the LP 560-4 versus 13.5 liters per 100 km (16 mpg) for the LP 570-4. Both these babies go out to the market on this November.
