A Plus for the X factor.

HTC One X+

HTC announced their latest high-end android smart phone HTC One X+ yesterday. It's supposed to replace its predecessor HTC One X when it comes to the market. Though both phones share many similarities the first difference that catches your eye is the new chip-set in One X+. It uses Nvidia Tegra 3 AP37 instead of the AP33 they used in One X. The AP37 is 13 percent faster than the AP33 which gives the new One X+ a 1.7Ghz quad-core processor. The GPU speed is also raised by 25 percent which makes it 520Mhz. This new GPU (ULP GeForce) can now handle primary display resolution of 1080p.

The new phone features the same display that we saw on One X which is a 720p 4.7 inch Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with a pixel density of 312ppi. It also have a 1GB ram, 32/64 GB internal memory, a 8MP camera capable of 1080p recording, and a secondary camera of 1.6MP capable of 720p recording. HTC introduced a non LTE version and as they say it is 27 percent faster than One X's non LTE version. The company also promises a 50 percent more talk time than its predecessor with the upgrade of its battery from 1800mAh to 2100mAh. The phone would come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of box. The phone would be released during this month world wide.
