Sony Introduces Their Latest Entry Level Androids

Sony Xperia E and Xperia E dual

Sony added two new entry level smartphones to their Xperia Line-up today by introducing Xperia E and Xperia E dual. Both phones have identical specifications except for the number of active sims you can use. Xperia E comes with 4.1 ,Jelly Bean, out of the box and Xperia E dual comes with 4.0 ,ICS, with the promise of an update to Jelly Bean later. Both phones have a 1 Ghz cortex-A5 processor, Adreno 200 gpu and they both come with a 512 MB ram and a 4GB internal memory with a microSD slot.

Both have 3.2MP cameras but sadly no front facing camera for video calls. The display is a 3.5" one and has a resolution of 320x480 pixels. The battery is 1530 mAh one and Sony promises that this battery would give you enough power to have 6 hours of HD enhanced call time. Both devices are GSM devices and the prices of these are yet unknown.

    1. But we have to see the selling prices of these devices. If they become cheap as a Galaxy Y, these would be good budget phones.

    2. Sony already has a significantly better entry level phone, The Xperia U.
It has the same screen size and ram, but twice the resolution and has a a dual core processor. It also has ICS as well, though it's still up in the air on whether it will get jellybean or not.

    3. Of course it is a better option. Even I am using a Xperia U. I love it. Hope they'll provide JB for it because they are giving a JB update for Xperia J which has a single core processor and a 512mb ram.
