HTC unveils its flagship Windows Phones

HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S

                        HTC revealed its flagship Windows 8 phones this month. I posted some leaked photos of Windows Phone 8X previously on this blog and as promised here are the full details of the phone. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chip-set and a Dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and it has a Adreno 225 GPU. It also has a 1GB ram and a 16GB storage. But you can't expand the memory as there is no memory card slot. The phone has a 4.3 inch S-LCD2 Capacitive touch display that has a 720p resolution and a 342ppi. It has a 8MP camera capable of 1080p video recording and a secondary 2.1 MP camera that is also capable of 1080p video recording, which enables you to take crisp clear video calls. It has all the modern day smartphone features including NFC. But it doesn't support LTE. As the name suggests the phone runs on Windows Phone 8 and the phone weighs about 130g.

                           The other phone the introduce Windows Phone 8S is bit cheaper than the 8S and some feature cut offs are also there with the less price. The 8S has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip-set and a Dual-core 1 GHz Krait processor and a 512MB ram. The internal memory is 4GB but you have the option of expanding it up to 32GB buy using a microSD card. The display of this phone is smaller than its big brother. It has a 4 inch S-LCD display and has a 480 x 800 pixels resolution and a 233ppi. It has a 5MP camera and it is capable of recording 720p videos. This also features the necessary data requirements of modern day phones except for NFC. The phone weighs about 113g.
